So I have this super large window in my living room that gives off the best #selfie lighting, which I can get carried away in sometimes lol. Anywho, drop those selfies! See you next blog post.
Most of you all know that I do various types of modeling, one being a promo model or BA. What’s a BA, you ask? Well a BA is short for brand ambassador and as a BA, it’s my job to help promote and get the word out about a particular brand. It could be from a social media standpoint, where brands send me items or merchandise to review and rep on Facebook or Instagram. Or, like most of my BA work, a promotional event held at a convention, sporting event, festival, or even bars. You know that person at the festival that has some cool free items for you as long as you signup for an email list or something, well that’s me lol. It’s my duty to educate you about the brand I’m working for and excite you about what they can offer you. I’ve worked with such brands as SVEDKA Vodka, Sports Illustrated, Hennessy, Bosch, Aleve, Delta, 5 Hr Energy Drinks, Allstate, Geico and even on a food truck with WingStop just to name a few.
It’s super fun, meeting new people, and the best part is that I get to travel anywhere! So far I’ve had the chance to travel all over the southeast doing promos. There is always an event somewhere and a lot of BA’s do it full time. And as much as I am an introvert, being in this field where I’m meeting and interacting with new people is pretty cool. Maybe you’ll catch me in your city one day! Until then, see you next blog post.
Yes yes yes!!! I know I’m super late but let’s go back to my website launch for a second. It was absolutely amazing! I definitely suffered from my anxiety, wanting everything to be perfect, but I was so grateful. I really appreciate and is thankful for everybody invovled. And I definiitly wouldn’t have been able to pull this off without all of my supporters. I really can’t explain the many emotions I felt.. ok…enough of my feelings and on to the good stuff.
First off, the event was held at one of my favorite place in Columbia, Rue 77 on September 26 2015 at 6pm. We had a photo backdrop, chocolate covered strawberries, complimentary wine, giveaways and of course swag bags! The event was put together by my agency, I AM ME Consulting. I couldn’t have possibly done this without my sponsors Rue 77, Chris E. Productions, Wanda’s Health Massage Therapy, Aaron D Smalls Photography, Seventh Division, Beauty Amour Eyebrow Bar, Chef Pebbles, Pif Boyz Ent, Careese Digital Photography.
Special thank you to my models Chris Crosby, Michaeyla Adrienna, J. Young aka Fro, La’Shawn Rembert, Mekaela B., and Brandon St Cloud. OMG, they were the cool kids of the night and did an awesome job.
All the glory be to my styling team and the gods of slaying lol. I am in love with this dress from Page XVII by Jasmyne S. My makeup artist, Shaunell Davis of Beauty Amour Eyebrow Bar is always on point and was also apart of my hair team alongside Morcia Bradley. And I have to love my styling team, LaKera Woodberry and Vanessa The Designer always keep me looking amazing!
Again, none of this would’ve been possible if I didn’t have you guys supporting me! Seriously, THANK YOU!!!
Talk about talented! I knew this guy was a star the moment I meant met him. Singer, songwriter, producer, actor and lover of the universe, his talents can not be explained, they must simply be demonstrated. Listen to his music below and be sure to check out his website here.
No link up this week…sorry guys!
I was recently going through my phone and noticed I had no space whatsoever and needed to get rid of a few things. I went through my picture gallery first and remembered all my unused selfies! So I thought what better way to get rid of them than with a blog series! Introducing #SelfieSunday, where no selfie is left behind (hehe), and I’ve decided to bring you in on the fun by making it a linkup. So let’s link! Drop your #SelfieSunday posts down below and we can see them on next week’s post! Can’t wait to see you awesome selfies!
I’m so excited! A few weeks ago I was invited to try Rocksbox, a membership-based jewelry styling service. I got my first box this week and I am absolutely in love!! Rocksbox is so perfect for me because I get bored with my jewelry and like to change it often (which is not so good on my budget). With Rocksbox, members pay a flat rate of $19/month to get access to a personalized rotating closet of designer jewelry, sent in sets of three at a time. Unlimited access to designer jewelry curated personally for me, for less than 20 bucks a month….. sign me up! I can’t wait to see how much money I save. 🙂
This box included Rayne Necklace in Magenta Magnesite by Kendra Scott, Mesa Wave Drop Earrings by Gorjana, and the Triangle Ring Set by Sophie Harper. The ring set has to be my favorite from this box. I put them on immediately after opening my and haven’t taken them off since lol.
How it works
- Rocksbox sets are curated for you based on your style profile.
- You can keep and wear your Rocksbox pieces for as long as you like.
- You can return your set anytime, as often as you like, and we’ll send out a new set of three right away.
- You pay the same membership fee regardless of how often you exchange your box.
- When you’re ready to refresh your box, send back all the pieces you don’t wish to purchase.
- If you love a piece, keep it when you return your box and you’ll be billed at the Insiders’ Price shown on your packing list.
You can fall in love with Rocksbox too! They were so nice to give my readers one month free of unlimited access to designer jewelry. That’s right, one month free, so take advantage of the offer by using code: iammexoxo at sign up. There’s nothing to lose expect the opportunity to get awesome jewelry for free! Enjoy!
